The pregnant man has been a more and more common issue in our modern society, as one of the most revolutionary concepts so far. The idea appeared in films and cartoons and then transferred into two real life situations, in the cases of Thomas Beatie and Scott Moore. Although there may be a lot of misconceptions about the pregnant man, this is definitely an element that will gain a lot of followers. We must take into account that our society has changed a lot in the past years. The man is not the only one who can work and make money, as well as the woman is not the only one who can take care of the household and cook. So why should it be different with pregnancies? In addition to the aspects mentioned, another important factor to take into account is the emergence of the same sex marriages. These couples should also be able to have children, if they want to. Thus, the pregnant man becomes a more and more logical concept. It is easy to understand why some men would want to become pregnant and have a child of their own now. However, for some people, it might be an idea that is not very easy to accept.

Although our society has greatly evolved, not all people have become accustomed with new practices. For them, the pregnant man might be a freak of nature and a person they could not accept among them. Keeping an open mind is very important nowadays, in regards of the pregnant man concept and many others. People should think about the fast pace of the world and that if they do not adjust, communicating with the younger generations will be a great problem. This is the case of the pregnant man as well. For example, you might find that your son will want to be the next pregnant man. Thus, you must adapt to this modern development and understand it. Men should be encouraged and supported by their families, as being a pregnant man is not an easy task to deal with.

Pregnan Man – Mission Impossible?

Remember that movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger when he was pregnant and gave birth to a child? It might sound as a science-fiction scenario, but there are already two cases of pregnant man. The idea of getting a man pregnant seems out of this world. Still, there have already been two instances when two men carried a pregnancy. How is it possible? One explanation would be that the two men were actually born women. As a result, they already had ovaries and the other necessary organs needed to become a pregnant man. This would be an explanation as to how these two had become pregnant. Still, it is not the only mean by which a pregnant man can carry a child.

If the pregnant man is not a transgender, then one solution would be an ectopic implantation. It is known that biological human males do not have the anatomy needed for natural embryonic and fetal development. The theoretical issue of a future pregnant man undergoing an ectopic pregnancy has been addressed by experts in the area of fertility medicine. Although it has never been attempted, it would provide extreme health risks to the hypothetical pregnant man.

In theory, there would be some advantages to a pregnant man, such as: the reduction of stereotypes. It has been believed since the dawn of time that only the woman can carry a child and attend to the house chores, while the man goes to work and brings home the money. The pregnant man can bring equality between the genders. Another advantage would be the freedom from restriction and limitation. Due to physical incapabilities, the man can now benefit from hormonal treatment and end up with a baby. This would be a wonderful thing, especially in same-sex couples, where the partners wish to give birth to a child. Last but not least, a special connection would be established between the pregnant man and the child. Men could now experience the wonder of a human being developing in the womb.

Although most of the people might regard the pregnant man as an unnatural thing and a freak of nature, science will have evolved a lot in the following years as to give men the possibility to give birth to a healthy child.

What Is the First Pregnant Man Doing These Days

Thomas Beatie was born in 1975, as Tracy Lagondino. This may sound confusing, but becoming a pregnant man is quite difficult without having female reproductive organs. It becomes obvious, thus, that the first pregnant man in the world was actually born a woman. Thomas Beatie underwent a gender reassignment in 2002, but he did not give up his female parts. While he may be considered a transsexual, Thomas Beatie was the world’s first pregnant man. Well, he said that he has always considered him a man, so after several years of testosterone shots, he decided that he wanted more.

He underwent a mastectomy in 2002, and became a real man. The only parts that he did not give up were the uterus and vagina, because he wanted to have kids. As his wife could not conceive, due to a hysterectomy, Thomas took matter into his hands and became a pregnant man. The whole world was shocked by the news as, let’s face it, we have only seen a pregnant man in movies. In 2007, the pregnant man gave birth to his first child, after an artificial insemination. The pregnant man became an instant celebrity, and he was invited to some of the most famous talk shows in the world. He did not stop here, though. The pregnant man now has three children with his wife, Susan. They are named Susan, Austin and Jensen, and they are three, two, and one year-old, respectively.

What is this pregnant man up to, these days, however? Well, Thomas stated that he could not have been happier. He is lucky to have such an amazing family, and even though some people look at him like a crazy pregnant man, he is very thankful for everything that he has got. Recently, Thomas and his family moved to Arizona. The only thing that concerns the pregnant man is the money issue, so he is struggling to get a job and forget about the financial problems, once and for all. He recently lost a contract for Dancing with the Stars, but he was not discouraged. On the contrary, the pregnant man is looking forward to see what does the future hold. However, he has decided that 3 children are enough, so he is considering a hysterectomy.

For all those who still wonder if a man can get pregnant, the answer surely seems to be yes. Thomas Beatie is the world’s first pregnant man. And the truth, at least in his case, seems to be the a man can really get pregnant. Thomas Beatie was a pregnant man, and he did not gave birth to only one child, but actually to three children. Well, Thomas Beatie shocked the world in 2008 when he gave birth to his first child and since both the baby and the father were healthy, Thomas Beatie decided that he wanted more children. And now, Thomas Beatie has three children, Susan, who is three years old, Austin, aged two and Jansen, who is only one. As, Thomas Beatie claimed, he gave birth naturally to all of them.

Thomas Beatie and his wife Nancy are proud to have a happy family. The family currently lives in Arizona. Of course, Thomas Beatie is a legally transgender man, for him to be able to become the first pregnant man, being now 37 years old. Anyway, as you probably imagine, Thomas Beatie was born as a woman. Thomas Beatie, the first pregnant man, always wanted to be a man and when he had the chance to start the treatment to change that aspect, he just took that opportunity. In his early twenties, Thomas Beatie started taking testosterone injections, while in 2002 he had a mastectomy to be able to become a man, legally. However, Thomas Beatie decided to keep his female sexual organs, as he knew that he and his wife will reach to a certain moment in which they will want to become parents. He was the only one who could give birth to the children and be a pregnant man, as Nancy had had a hysterectomy.

Well, the couple opted to get the needed help from an anonymous donor, where from the two bough the sperm, and Thomas Beatie was submitted to numerous treatments with the purpose to become the first pregnant man. And the most important aspect for this family is not that Thomas Beatie became the first pregnant man, but that he and his wife have been able to become parents. And they are happy to know that all their children are healthy.

How Can a Man Get Pregnant?

[Facebook] [Twitter]

The idea of a man getting pregnant seems impossible. However, as the world witnessed, not only did one man recently get pregnant, but so did another one. To the astonishment of countless people, both of these men successfully gave birth to a baby. So, how in the world is this possible? In both of these cases, this event was made possible by the fact that both of these men were born as women. As a result, they already had ovaries and the other necessary reproductive organs to become pregnant. While this is how both of these men were able to become pregnant, it’s not the only way that a man could carry a child.

Although it has never been attempted, specialists believe that it could be possible to impregnate a normal man through the use of an ectopic implant. This would require several steps. First, the implant would need to be made in a man’s stomach. Next, an attachment would need to be made between one of the man’s organs and the placenta. Finally, when the baby reached its full development, doctors would have to operate and perform a C-section to get the baby out of the man’s stomach.

While this form of male pregnancy is believed to be possible, not only are there ethical reasons that it has never been done, but there are also serious health risks that would have to be addressed. Because a man’s body isn’t designed to carry a baby, it is quite likely that this type of pregnancy would be fatal to a man attempting to carry a baby.

Second Pregnant Man

[Facebook] [Twitter]

The world sat up and took notice when Thomas Beatie, a female to male transsexual who had kept his female reproductive organs gave birth to a healthy baby girl in June of 2008. Beatie and his wife, Nancy, had wanted children, but Nancy had undergone a hysterectomy and couldn’t get pregnant.

Now it’s time to take note of the world’s second pregnant man, Scott Moore, who gave birth to a son, Miles, on March 9, 2010. Scott and his husband, Thomas Moore, were both born female, but have both undergone sex reassignment surgery and identify as a gay male couple.

The men were already raising two boys from a previous relationship Thomas had had with a woman, but it was important to them to bring their own child into the family. Like Thomas Beatie, Scott had kept his female reproductive organs, so he was biologically capable of pregnancy. A friend donated the sperm used for the conception.

Scott and Thomas acknowledge that their family is a nontraditional one, but they describe themselves as “blissfully happy.” Asked if they were afraid their baby would grow up to be the victim of bullies for having two fathers and for being born to a man, Thomas acknowledged that it could happen, but was confident that it is a problem they can overcome. One of his other sons, Logan, was bullied, he stated, but learned to turn the tables on people who made fun of him.

The London Daily News broke Scott’s story in January 2009.

Scott Moore – Pregnant Man

[Facebook] [Twitter]

The story of Scott Moore is very amazing. He is the world’s second pregnant man. The story is that he and his male partner are expecting a baby which they will call Miles. Both Scott and Thomas where originally born females and have had sex changes. The baby was conceived using the sperm of a friend. Although Scott is not technically a man, it goes to show that the news will always contort the story to be much more extravagant than the truth.

Since the success of this pregnancy is based on many different factors, it is important to really look into what is happening in Scott’s transformed male body. The baby will be a healthy baby boy because the mother, Scott still had her female reproductive organs intact. The birthing will not be a problem and seems to be able to go off without a hitch. In fact, baby Miles was born in February of 2010 and is doing very well. It is important to note that it is very difficult to really get a true male pregnant and it would be difficult to give birth.

The next big thing is the fact that the male body is not readily equipped to produce milk to feed the baby. Although historically, there have been men who have been able to breast feed, it is important to note that they are really able to do this within certain circumstances. Since Scott has female breasts, she may be able to produce milk fine, but her breasts were surgically reduced to look more like a male. Babies who are born into these special families will usually wonder how it is possible and may have distraught thoughts when they are older.

The Pregnant Man

[Facebook] [Twitter]

Some people feel that a pregnant man is an absolute abomination of life. Pregnancy has always been reserved by females, and to have a pregnant male seems almost ludicrous. However, the pregnant man has shown that science can adapt anything is always pushing the envelope. Lets look at some of the advantages of having a pregnant man:

1. Reduction of stereotypes. It has long been held that because women are the ones who get pregnant, they are relegated to the house and should clean, cook, and complete other housewife duties while men are out at work. The pregnant man tears down these walls and helps to reduce other stereotypes that women are weaker because they can get pregnant, etc. The pregnant man is helping to bring equality between the genders.

2. Freedom from restriction and limitation. Some men, who may previously have wanted to be pregnant, couldn’t have accomplished this due to their physical incapability. Now, with the pregnant man, it has been proven that a man can be pregnant. This gives a glimmer of hope to those men out there who want to be the father of the child but have the child come out of his own body.

3. A stronger connection between man and child. Sometimes it is assumed that children are more likely to love their mother than their father because they shared such an intimate physical connection with her. Well, the pregnant man now allows men to have this same bond with the child that had previously only been a realization for women. Men can have the child and raise it, fostering a relationship with it based on the physical connection that has been shared between them.

Although the pregnant man can be looked at as a freak of nature, the positive consequences of this are astronomical.

Pregnant Man Gives Birth

[Facebook] [Twitter]

Thomas Beatie is a name known around the world for being the first ever man to get pregnant and give birth to a child. However this story is not all that it seems, this article attempts to explain the myths and get the truth out about the worlds first pregnant man.

That main discrepancy about this story is that Thomas Beatie was actually born a woman. At a young age she had her breasts removed and took male hormones for many years in order to change her appearance and outwardly change her sex from female to male. However the press have hyped up this story to make it appear that a Beatie was in fact the first ever man to give birth, when she is actually just a transgender female.

Another strange fact is that Beatie used a sperm donor to get pregnant. But this was not done the traditional way – by visiting a practice which inseminated him. Instead Beatie’s wife bought equipment from a veterinary clinic that is normally used to feed birds. She then inseminated Beatie herself (with no medical training) using this strange equipment that she described as a syringe without a needle.

It is easy to see why this bizarre story has made the headlines of some of the largest newspapers around. But on closer inspection one can see that just because Beatie has the outward appearance of a man, biologically ‘he is still a she’. Since then Beatie has given birth to a second child, a healthy baby girl.
